O'Neill Coldwater Classic Series 2011 - Scotland | GBR

Surfing: the most northern surf contest on the planet

Cold Water Classic Scotland 2011

April 13th to 19th 2011, Thurso East (Scotland/UK)

A Scottish highland sword and the title of Lord as the prizes for the winner - this is something you can only get at the Cold Water Classic Series. During this unique world tour, the surfers explore the edges of the globe competing at the most northern, the most southern, the coldest and the most classic surf contest. Only two weeks after the kick-off event at New Zealand and before the series will head to Canada and California, it will hold its second stage at the Cold Water Classic Scotland 2011. From the 13th to the 19th of April 2011, the world's most northern surf contest will take place at the very North of the British Isles at 59 degrees North. In the ice-cold water of Scotland's Thurso East, the pro surfers will explore the powerful reef and beach breaks of the area and show their spectacular manoeuvres in the massive swells of the Atlantic Ocean.
