After three major successful years of competitions at the famous powder slopes of the Plan du Fou, the Nendaz Freeride is established as one of the leading competitions in the world of freeriding. The Nendaz Freeride 2010 will again present a high-quality ski and snowboard freeride competition giving young riders the opportunity to show their talents and skills in a professional and secured environment and to compete with pro riders. Apart from the athletic aspects with exciting powder turns and dizzying cliff jumps, the event also possesses an educational element by putting forward the need for alpine safety and respect for the mountain. It also emphasizes the fact that freeriding is possible and most enjoyable as long as all safety aspects are put together.
