Five teams, five sports, five days; that’s the unique concept at the Outdoor Games 2008. The World’s outdoor sporting elite got together in Interlaken in Switzerland from the 30th of June to the 5th of July for the fourth edition of the most important event of its kind. Five teams of five of the leaders in their field in mountainbiking, kayaking, climbing, paragliding and B.A.S.E jumping competed under the gaze of the giant Eiger, Jungfrau and Mönch range of mountains to create a short film that was judged by a jury who awarded the “Oscar of outdoor sports” to the winner. The audience got to take an active part in the event at the closing weekend festival.
