The Verbier Ride is one of the leading New School Freestyle Ski-Events in Europe. Meanwhile the event has grown from a small resort-based ski bash into a feature event on the  IFSA Freeskiing World Tour. The 2008 event from the 18th-20th January will prove once again to be a great success with the world's top riders throwing it down in the two disciplines.
Freestyle skiing is rapidly becoming the major influence on wintersports and the Verbier Ride is deeply etched in the European vanguard of the movement.
