The winter season is almost here and to help city dwellers kick start it, a
spectacular freeski competition with an urban feel will take place in London. The
London Ride '07 is laying on a freesports festival packed with quarter pipe
action from some of Europe's top new-school freestyle skiers and the best of
British riders from various international teams. Athletes will gather in London on

the Metro Snow Show in Kensington Olympia, London.

The London Ride is the UK location for the Ride series of Freeskiing events
which include the Verbier Ride, Saas-Fee Ride and Davos Klosters Ride. While
the London Ride shows urban freeskiing to the inhabitants of one of the most
exciting cities in the world, the other three contests are located in the heart of the
Swiss Alps. The Ride contest in Verbier is a European level pro/am Big Air and
Rail Jam event, the Saas-Fee Ride serves as the European Summer Freeskiing
Championships. The Davos Klosters Ride is a big mountain championship in one
fo the best freeride resorts of the planet. The aim of the Ride series is to keep up
the core values of freeskiing: community, respect and adventure. Add to that a
massive layering of fun and you have the London Ride 07!
