It almost seems as if the stars of the international bouldering community have waited for a new impulse - athletes have embraced the new top-class bouldering invitational contest ROCKSTARS 2011 that connects sports with live music (July 28 to 31 2011). For bouldering - a style of rock climbing undertaken without a rope and normally limited to very short climbs – this event means a decisive step into the future. Over the last 15 years, the sport has become increasingly popular. The perfectly staged show with rock bands performing live at the second largest event hall of Western Austria, the Area Dome, stays abreast of this development.
