It's Europe's oldest snowboard competition and also one of the most important young freeski contest: from the 4th to the 8th of February 2009, the CHAMPS OPEN will take place for the 18th time consecutively. Since three years, the event has found its new home at Crans-Montana, Switzerland. Since then, also the freeskiers have bustled the unique set-up of the snowpark at the Cry d'Er. It's the only course in the world that unites slopestyle elements, a quarterpipe and a super-pipe in one single run. The aim of this key 5-star event of the TTR World Tour and important freeskiing competition is to find the most versatile freestyle snowboarder and freeskier.
