Freeriding goes Olympics! At Sochi, the host city of the Olympic Winter Games

2014, the first leg of the Freeride World Tour 2009 took place from January

20th to 25th, 2009. The Russian Adventure was held for the second time at the

Krasnaya Polyana ski resort and offered high-grade big mountain skiing and

snowboarding at the backdrop of the North Caucasian mountain giants and the

Black Sea. Just as at the other three events of the Freeride World Tour 2009, the

world's 44 best freeskiers and snowboarders were at the start to crown their

world champions.
