This year's multisports race "Peak to Creek" left nothing to be desired and gathered a total of 24 world-class athletes from eight different disciplines in the Austrian Ötz valley. The inaugural extreme relay race featured the disciplines skiing, mountain biking, mountain running, climbing, road cycling, ski mountaineering, paragliding and kayaking. The final rafting stage of the race then saw the whole team rushing down the roaring "Ötztaler Ache". In the end, Team Silver surrounding road cyclist Antonio Corradini from Italy was able to win the much sought-after trophy of the demanding race in 04:47:45. Team Red with Jan Ullrich (GER) placed second in front of Team Blue including skier Dominik Paris (ITA).
