TTR World Snowboard Tour - Nescafe Champs

Snowboarding: style & tradition at Europe`s longest-running contest!

Nescafé Champs Leysin 2012

March 01-04 2012, Leysin (Switzerland)

A unique slopestyle course, a sunny location in a high plateau and a clear awareness for style and tradition: these factors shape the Champs Open, Europe`s longest running snowboarding contest. Since 1992, the competition has been imperative for the international snowboard scene, first as a part of the ISF Tour and since 2003 as a 5-star event of today`s most important snowboarding series, the TTR World Snowboard Tour. From March 01 to 04 2012, the Champs Open will be held for the 21st time. Leysin is situated on 1,265 m sea level in the Swiss Canton of Vaud and offers a fantastic view on Lake Geneva. At this picturesque place, the organizers have always had the courage to invent new formats. This year, they present an innovative slopestyle course that is unprecedented worldwide, uniting two Olympic formats in one run: they will integrate a super-pipe into the typical slopestyle features. This combination offers a special challenge to the riders who have to prove their versatility and to master both disciplines in one run.
