Sitting on the south-eastern side of the Mont Blanc in the Aosta valley, Courmayeur is an absolute delight of a resort. This area of the Alps is a timeless freeride venue, packed with big lines and offering some stunning heli-skiing options. Courmayeur and the Aosta valley are top-notch freeride areas with awesome couloirs, vertical drops and stunning views from all angles. On January 19, 2013, Courmayeur welcomes the Freeride World Tour for the third time. Tête d'Arp is the chosen venue for the thrilling men's ski and snowboard competitions, giving the riders the choice of multiple start positions.
