Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race 2010 - Part 2

Outdoor: The world's last truly wild expedition race

Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race 2010

February 09th to 17th 2010, Patagonia (Chile)

It's a ten-day adventure at the end of the world, a story of women and men struggling with nature: the Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race from February 09th to 17th 2010 is the world's last truly wild expedition race. Using only the traditional navigation tools of map and compass, the competitors trek, mountain bike, climb, and kayak in mixed gender teams representing eleven nations. At Chilean Patagonia's remote island of Tierra del Fuego, they will traverse more than six hundred kilometres in ten days through unnamed valleys, the majestic snow covered Darwin Range as well as the freezing waters of the legendary Beagle Channel, showcasing one of the globe's last untouched landscapes.
