July 3rd to 5th 2009, Estavayer-Le-Lac (Switzerland)

An invasion of the freestyle fans! Annually at the beginning of July, 15,000 sports enthusiasts occupy Estavayer-le-Lac and its beautiful medieval old town to celebrate an international freestyle sports festival together with the 5,000 inhabitants of the small town at the Swiss canton of Fribourg. For the 17th time already, the FREE4STYLE event takes place at the shores of Lake Neuenburg from July 3rd to 5th 2009 presenting a varied range of first-class freestyle competitions in the disciplines of freestyle motocross (FMX), wakeboard and jet-ski – an appealing and racy contrast to the idyll of the Swiss landscape and the picturesque old town!

The Adventure at the end of the World (Argentina)

Known as "the last wild race", Patagonian Expedition Race is an action packed adventure race located in the southern-most region of the world, Chilean Patagonia. Imitating what native Indian forefathers have done for thousands of years, international teams advance over plains, mountains, glaciers, native forests, swampland, rivers, lakes and channels. Guided by their mind and spirit, and driven by physical stamina and experience, teams utilize five fundamental disciplines determined by the natural terrain: moutain-biking , trekking, sea-kayaking, orienteering, and rope work.
