"Only the serious need apply!"  - that´s the motto of the world s northernmost and coldest professional surfing contest. At the very North of the British Isles - at 59 degrees north - the third Highland Open will take place from April 23^rd to 30^th, 2008. This six-star of the World Qualifying Series (WQS) of the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) throws over any cliché about Scotland: instead of whiskey, kilts and bagpipes, it´s all about wetsuits, surfboards and mobile homes!
