OPEN FACES FJWC - Highlight of the freeride juniors

OPEN FACES 2022

Kappl (AUT), January 25th 2022

The Freeride Junior World Championship (FJWC) is the highlight of the freeride juniors on ski and snowboard. On Tuesday, Jan. 25th 2022, the annual highlight of the season took place in Kappl-Paznaun (AUT).
In challenging runs, the junior athletes showed spectacular jumps and drops in the terrain as well as challenging lines through the deep snow.
The future of Freeriding looks to be in safe hands with a continually impressive level of riding from Junior athletes.
Despite the challenging snow conditions, the wide variety of terrain and large choice of lines made for an excellent competition and a welcome return to the home of the FJWC.
The next stop of the Open Faces Series (1* FWQ / 2*FJT) of men and women will take place in the weather window from Fri, Feb. 11 to Sun, Feb. 2, in Alpbach (AUT).
