The Glacier Spectacle: “Hannibal”

April 12, 2019, Sölden (AUT)

The fantastic mountain range of Sölden’s Rettenbach Glacier, ice and snow as well as the infinity of the night sky – that’s the one-of-a-kind scenery for a startling XXL open-air play! On April 12, 2019, the “Hannibal” Glacier Spectacle stages Hannibal’s crossing of the Alps in an unforgettable way. The nature on 3,000 metres above sea- level is just as stunning as the Carthaginian general’s move to cross the Main Chain of the Alps: sometimes silent, sometimes thundering loud, the precise choreography with dancers, snow groomers, planes, helicopters, snowmobiles, skydivers and skiers spreads across the glacier.
