Steep powder slopes, spectacular off-piste runs, and awe-inspiring drops from huge cliffs: since 2008, the world’s leading freeride skiers and snowboarders have fought for the World Championship titles of the Freeride World Tour (FWT) every year. Delivering unforgettable images and top-notch athletic performances, the tour has become a key part of the international winter sports calendar. The World Champions in all categories will be crowned after 4 tour stops at the grande finale during the Xtreme Verbier in Switzerland. The 2019 FWT will take place in five fabulous ski stations praising some of the most fascinating venues on the planet. Tour locations include Hakuba (JPN), Kicking Horse Golden BC (CAN), Fieberbrunn (AUT), Vallnord-Arcalís (AND) and Verbier (SUI).
