For 2014 a totally new direction has been taken with two distinctly new competitions. The first will be dedicated Snowboard and Freeski film producers. Four teams will be invited for 10 days to Leysin with riders & cameraman/editors with the ultimate goal of producing a 3-minute film of their adventures throughout the Vaud Alps The films will be presented to the public on the 15th of March and the winning films will be voted for an award. The second will be an open competition with Freeski and Snowboard at the Chaux de Mont site. The competition structures will be composed of the best elements from the Leysin Park Snowpark with the traditional mix of Big Air, Superpipe and Rail Slides. This will be a winner takes all competition where the best Skier and Snowboarder wins the chance to go filming with one of the participating film productions. A grand total of 20,000 U$ will be split between the Film Awards and the winners of the Open Competition.
