Five exceptional surf events held in the most isolated places of four continents... Five challenging waves that have to be ridden under the most extreme and cold conditions...Five events of the ASP World Qualifying Series (WQS), all surrounded by unique landscapes - that's the Cold Water Classic Series 2010. Following the resounding success of the inaugural tour last year, the series makes a much-anticipated return for 2010 uniting the most southern, the most northern, the wildest, the coldest and the most classic event of the surf world.

Just as last year, the start to the series will be held at the Cold Water Classic Tasmania from the 23rd to the 28th of March 2010. In the wilds of Tasmania Island located in the South-East of Australia, surfers will find the mixture of adventure and unexplored waves. Exposed to the savage weather and the abundance of Southern Ocean swell, the Cold Water Classic Tasmania encapsulates all that this series represents.
